The primary goal of Parenting With A Purpose in our Parents Matter segment is to provide a network of parenting services that will aid in the prevention of child abuse and neglect; will reduce interpersonal violence.

  • Promote children’s healthy development.
  • Improve the child/parent attachment.
  • Improve the child/parent communication skills.
  • Improve the child/parent’s social skills.
  • Enhance self-esteem of family participants.
  • Reduce aggressive behaviors by children and their parents/caregivers.
  • Reduce/ eliminate out-of-school suspensions for Pre-k thru 6th grade except for state
    and federal mandated suspensions.

Rebuilding the family foundation to prepare our members for the responsibilities of life and to qualify them for homeownership.

The world is rapidly changing, and we must prepare our children for a different tomorrow. Our Parents Matter Reset Program exists to transform the lives of parents and children to alleviate poverty physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually through a multigenerational approach. Our focus is to provide a solid foundation to build a future to thrive. Effective parenting is not a means to an end. It is a relationship that will last a lifetime.

3. Getting Ready for the world

In our Getting Ready For The World segment we will focus on creating generational wealth to end generational poverty. Our primary focus is rebuilding the family foundation to prepare our members for the responsibilities of life and to qualify them for homeownership.

Major Focal Points for our six months to a two-year journey

  • Finding freedom from an oppressive past.
  • Developing Life Values and Lifeskills for personal discipline.
  • Developing employment skills and advancing careers.
  • Developing the Money Management skills of giving, saving, spending, and planning.
  • Learning the Home Management skills of home care and property maintenance.
  • NACA (Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America) course of studies for a home loan.
  • Lifelong Mentoring assistance to ensure the path to success and prosperity is achieved.
